Hello, and welcome to kittycollects!


Amanda McKittrick, (known to friends as ‘Kitty’) comes from a long line of crafters. She is a regular craft group member, an occasional blogger, and loves to be surrounded at all times with craft, design, illustration, photography, collections and nature. She is also the author of Totes Amaze: 25 bags to make for every occasion and Recycled Chic: 30 simple ways to recycle, renew and reinvent your pre-loved fashions. When she’s not busy drawing and making things, she works as a museum photographer, a picture researcher and graphic designer.

    Dear Amanda,
    I love your book Taschen für jedes Beutelschema, but honestly, I do not understand why the “material needed” is so confusing, for example for the “Lenkertasche” I need 120*50 cm, but if I go one side further I only need twice 33*37. What’s the sense in that?

    Thanks for your feedback. As mentioned earlier in the book (page 10) the projects specify the standard fabric roll width in the materials list, sorry if this is confusing to you.
